Failure is not an option...

 
 
First of all OMP is a place for wrestlers to get extra mat time with other dedicated wrestlers. We are not trying to take away from what school districts offer. Different practice partners, drilling, and some live wrestling. It is the year round re-enforcement of the technique that we offer that will help your wrestler improve year after year. We also want to expose our wrestlers to national duals, national tournaments, and bring in guest clinicians at camps and clinics.
 
Coaching a wrestling club in the Pittsburgh area is not an easy task. You have to embrace the challenge and get to work or you will get run over.   We are surrounded by tough clubs. We keep hearing about this coach did this and this coach did that 15,20,25 years ago. We respect that but thats about it. We don't fear any of them. Our whole mind set is our kids will be prepared to go out and battle. We are committed to this lifestyle. We are dedicated to the training year round. We want to be in your face wrestling.  It starts with instilling it in our wrestlers minds that they can compete against anyone. If they don't believe, then we will fail. We drill, drill, and drill some more. Hard work in the practice room leads to success at their matches. Tough, selfish, mean, and exciting wrestlers is what we want to create. Failure is not an option.
